Lotus Rising LA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping vulnerable communities in Los Angeles rebuild after disasters. Inspired by the 2025 wildfires, we focus on sustainable prefab housing, direct rebuilding assistance, and community-driven recovery efforts to ensure families can stay in the places they’ve always called home.

who does Lotus Rising LA help?

We primarily help families who have lost their homes due to disasters, especially those who are underinsured, from generational homes, or facing financial barriers to rebuilding. Our goal is to make sure no one is forced to leave their community because they can’t afford to rebuild.

what types of rebuilding assistance do you provide?

Our approach includes three core programs designed to help families rebuild after wildfire—faster, smarter, and with dignity:

• Rebuild Ready:
  Helps families access fire-resistant, prefab housing when traditional rebuilding is out of reach. This program makes construction faster, more affordable, and built for what comes next..

• House to Home:
  Provides furniture, appliances, and layout support so families aren’t just moving back into four walls—they’re returning to a place that feels like home.

• The Village:
  Connects families with architects, contractors, designers, and mental health providers who guide them through the rebuild. Real people. Real support. Every step of the way.

is Lotus Rising LA only focused on the 2025 wildfires?

No – while the 2025 wildfires inspired our work, we are committed to helping Los Angeles communities recover from future disasters as well. Our long-term mission is to create sustainable rebuilding solutions that can be deployed whenever disaster strikes.

Prefab homes are built off-site and assembled quickly, making them a faster, more affordable, and more sustainable alternative to traditional rebuilding. They also allow families to return home sooner, reducing the risk of displacement.
