our mission

Lotus Rising LA was created in response to the 2025 wildfires, with a mission to help families rebuild their homes and their place in Los Angeles.

By prioritizing sustainable prefab housing, hands-on rebuilding assistance, and a community-driven approach, we create real solutions that ensure people aren’t priced out of the places they’ve always called home.

a note from our founder

After the 2025 wildfires, hundreds of families across Los Angeles were left without homes and without a clear way forward. Many were underinsured. Some weren’t insured at all. Most were faced with a rebuilding process that felt completely out of reach.

I started Lotus Rising LA because I couldn’t stand to see longtime residents pushed out of the only place they’ve ever called home. These aren’t strangers. They’re the people who built this city. They shouldn’t be forced to leave because the system wasn’t built for them. And they deserve better.

We believe rebuilding shouldn’t depend on luck or access. It should be possible because people care enough to make it so. That’s the kind of work we show up for, and the kind of community we’re here to build.

This isn’t about charity. It’s about taking responsibility for each other. It’s about choosing to care when it would be easier not to.

If you’re here, thank you. Whether you donate, share, or simply pay attention, you’re helping families stay rooted in the communities they’ve built. And that matters.
